Little Children

Took Miles with me to see two of our senior saints in Graceland last week. I thought it would help me reach out and have more to talk about.
I had forgotten the power little children had over our seniors. Everywhere room we walked past, every face I saw, everyone was smiling and trying to talk to Miles. He, of course, was unaware. He was just being little and cute.
Reminded me of Anna the prophetess in Luke who beholds Jesus as a baby and sings for joy in his presence. Not that Miles is Jesus, but they have both been little children in the eyes of the world. That day, Miles brought a reminder of hope, a reminder of grandchildren to others. A reminder that children keep us young and smiling and hopeful that this world can be better and that the next world will definitely be better.
Truly, a bundle of joy!
